Hello, I'm Christopher.
I am a certified Integrative Development Practitioner and Integral Coach. I support leaders and and progressive change makers in international development institutions, non-profit sector organizations, social change initiatives and private businesses. My main focus is to build capacities, skills, and resources to better address today’s global challenges and how we can thrive in new, sustaining ways.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked in the private sector, with government organizations, with civil society actors, and supranational institutions across three continents. I have worked on continent-wide organizational change initiatives and with many individuals across cultures. I know first-hand what it feels like to live in ever-changing environments far away from home, to be responsible for people, and to work with resources that don’t always stretch to meet the size of what’s required.
What I have learned over the years is to continuously adapt, grow, and to open my heart and mind to new possibilities. Like you, I went through my own hardships, losses, and challenges along the way. And what I have come to understand is that we develop faster and more profoundly when we foster the connection with ourselves and the people around us; that is to realize that we are a part of a larger whole, working, living, and evolving in inter-dependence.
My work, methodologies, attitudes, and worldviews are shaped by these experiences: underpinned by the principles of equity, collaboration, acceptance, and compassion, and informed by what it means to engage right at the edge where plans and decisions face the messiness of reality. I have been very fortunate to learn from and live in many different intercultural contexts. I deeply subscribe to the principles of diversity, inclusion and equity. I am committed to listen, share, and amplify the voices of all, irrespective of race, gender identity, ethnicity, age, belief system, country of origin, social background or education. As systemic change starts with each one of us, I will do my part to continue educating myself to better understand systemic racism and fight against discrimination.
